Fremantle have re-signed young gun Nathan Fyfe until the end of the 2014 AFL season.
The 19-year-old was contracted until the end of next season, but the extra two years will keep him away from the reach of Greater Western Sydney.
"We regard Nathan Fyfe very highly both as a person and a player, and we are delighted that he has shown such a commitment to the club," Fremantle general manager of player management Brad Lloyd said.
"Nat has had an outstanding start to his AFL career and we see him as being very much a part of the long-term future of the Fremantle Dockers."
Fyfe has established himself as one of the Dockers' best players this season and is considered a good chance to claim All-Australian honours after averaging 25 possessions a game to go with his 14 goals.
The 186cm midfielder joins skipper Matthew Pavlich, ruckman Aaron Sandilands, David Mundy, Stephen Hill, Anthony Morabito, Greg Broughton and Michael Barlow as others to have signed deals keeping them tied to the club until at least the end of 2013.
